The spacer is made out of the highest quality figured hardwoods and hardwood burl from the local area and the tropics. We have listed our three most popular wood types, but have many other types in stock. If you are interested in other woods, please email for availability.
****The examples of wood types given are exactly that -- examples. Every piece of figured wood and burl turned into a spacer varies and no two are the same. If you would like more examples of a certain type of wood, email us before ordering.****
Round Barrel Reel Seats
-Inside diameter = 7/16"
-3 3/4" overall length with cap
-Fixed hood can be recessed into cork grip
-Can be used as uplocking or downlocking, but suggest uplocking
-Machined, fine thread aluminum with gunsmoke
(TiCH, titanium carbide) anodizing
-Great size for 2 to 6 weight fly rods
-Multiple coats of satin poly varnish finish

Mortised Barrel Reel Seats
-Slot milled for positive reel placement
-Fixed hood is machined to 0.790 for recessing under cork.
-Overall length is 3 7/8 inches
-3/8 inch bore
-Machined Aluminum with titanium carbide anodizing
-Double, fine knurled locking nuts will not loosen during use.
-Fine, tight threading
-Great size for 2 to 6 weight fly rods
-Multiple coats of satin poly varnish finish

Six to Ten Weight Fly Rod Reel Seat-
With or Without Wood Fight Butt
-Machined aluminum with titanium carbide anodizing
-Double, knurled lock nuts with imbedded O rings
will not loosen while in use.
Fixed, machined hood.
-Overall length 4" (not including fight butt if applicable).
-7/16 inch bore
-Great for 5 wt - 10 wt rods.
-Multiple coats of satin poly varnish finish
